UKVapefest 2010 is heading your way !! - 23rd October 2010
After being let down by the Hotel we initially wanted to use in Northampton, it was decided during a meeting at ukvapers that we should cancel the venue and look for a new one.
The new venue is now in Tamworth, just north of Birmingham in the midlands.
Big city venues are just way too costly, for example a meeting room in Birmingham starts at £39.95 per person... yes, per person, so I made the decision to go just outside of town and look for a vape friendly pub.
We found it in the Plough & Harrow in Tamworth.

The Plough is limited in accommodation, which may now be fully booked, however their staff recommend The Hollies, which is just the other end of the car park, so right on the doorstep. 01827 283550.
The organisers are staying from Friday 22nd October through to Sunday 24th, although the Vapefest event will take place on the Saturday, 23rd 10am till 5pm in the Function Room.
We are hoping to put on our own entertainment in the evening - further on that as I get confirmation.
Obviously we would like to see as many vapers there as possible.

Presumably there will be a cost involved, can you hint as to how much at this stage?

The only costs involved are for accommodation and meals etc., which are all up to yourself to arrange.
There are costs for the room hire, but we hope to recoup those by holding raffles and auctions.
The Plough is now fully booked, so if you need accommodation you would have to book the Hollies, whose number is above.
