Vendors will close around 6pm. The venue will be closed to the public from 10pm however those who are camping may remain on site.

The Showground is perfectly set in the heart of Shropshire with just a 15 minute walk from the Historic Tudor Town of Shrewsbury. It boasts 53 acres and is bordered by the River Severn. It has been used for many events including the Shrewsbury Folk Festival which attracted more than 20,000 visitors last year. There is ample parking for more than 2,000 cars, more than 100 toilets, including disabled, a covered bar area, and stands and stalls.
HOW TO GET THERE

BY CAR
Shrewsbury is easily accessible and is linked to the motorway by the A5 and M54. Please see the map for your route planning. The postcode for your Sat Nav is: SY1 2PF.
Parking is free. Disabled drivers will need to show their blue badges to the stewards on arrival to access the reserved parking area.
BY RAIL
Shrewsbury Railway Station - 19 minute walk (see here).
BY BUS
The showground is a short walk from Shrewsbury Bus Station (see here) if you are travelling from the local area. For details of bus routes and times within the county, please call the Shropshire Traveline on 0870 6082608.

ON FOOT
FROM SHREWSBURY TRAIN STATION/TOWN CENTRE
It’s less than a mile to walk from Shrewsbury Railway Station/Town Centre to the West Midlands Showground (which is signposted “the Agricultural Showground”):

FROM SHREWSBURY BUS STATION
Come out of the bus station facing the river and turn right by The Albert pub. Follow this road until you come to Chester Street, then follow the directions above.

The world’s biggest big raffle has gotten so big that this year we’re splitting it in two! Prize draws will be held at 2pm and 5:30pm on Saturday. Keep an eye on the Raffle Porn page as more and more glamtastic goodies are added to the humongous haul of swag! |

The venue is flat. It is open. There are disabled toilets which work on the Radar key system. There are ramps to the only building that is ever so slightly higher than ground level. Access, as far as reasonably practicable should not be an issue. |

Since this an outdoor event children and pets (on leads) are welcome. |

There will be more catering vans with more choice and lower prices. Two outside bars will be provided. |

If you are an outdoorsy type, and want to save a few bob, bring a tent. Your stay is FREE (Friday, Saturday and Sunday). Arrival is permitted from 4pm - 9:30pm on Friday, Saturday 9:00am to 9:30pm & Sunday 9:00am until 9:30pm. Stay until 12pm on Monday. Think of the shiny new mod you can get instead of spending money on a hotel room! Plan for electricity NOT being available.
